Our Seventh Year Anniversary

As seven years have passed since our wedding day, I find myself reminiscing of life thus far. The toughest part was learning how to merge and to effectively communicate. Beyond that we’ve had the opportunity to lean on one another as we experienced soo many firsts together. Some of our most enjoyed and sought after moments are when we can leisurely relax in a pool on a warm sunny day and though we live in Arizona, these times seem harder to come by. Yes, we are very spoiled that way! We have enjoyed our shared experiences and have truly grown together through thick and thin.

Our marriage is quite unique. We have faced many challenges of cultural diversity, sacrifice (time, finances, and lifestyles), and delaying family expansion. We have also been blessed to: try living on self employment for a year, caring for elderly family for almost two years, have employment through MCC and ASU, attain our undergraduate degrees with honors, commit to achieving a masters degree, have owned our transportation, to have no debt, have strong bonds to family, worthily attend the temple and be amazed at all that our lord has blessed us with.

We have been so enriched by one another’s love and service. I am excited for our future.

Honey, you are still the one, to provide for all that I need and want. I admire your ability to calm my heart. You make me feel that I am getting more then I deserve. I will always cherish the little moments that make up our life.
