So finally my new supervisor has signed my salary promotion papers. AND I was able to convince them to change the name of the department. Good bye Activities and hello Therapeutic Recreation. This change benefits the professionalism of my service and hopefully assists in providing awareness to staff. I am happy about it. Also I hope to be able to hire someone very soon as I was just given the clearance to join Tim in another trip to UT; this time Tim will be assisting his grandma Joyce and I will be there to support him and do a little work on the side.
Anywho I am very relieved that this debacle is coming to an end and that I will have some pressured relief. Maybe we can celebrate later this weekend. Right now I am fighting my second day of serious fever. Ugg

Married And Loving It
We have loved sharing our lives together. And hope for an even brighter more adventurous future. We have had wonderful years of doing our own thing: when and where we want. We keep our spontaneity alive on a regular basis. Though as much as we enjoy doing things outside our home, there is just no better place for us to be us.
One special key that has kept our marriage alive is that we truly miss each other when we are apart. Good thing for cell phones! When something/anything happens we can’t wait to call and let the other person know. This method is soo much better then “How was your day today honey”.
This year has been full of drama and trauma, so we need heaps of stress-free, relaxation. We are definitely looking forward to taking a few holidays!

Congratulations this is all wonderful news! Now you will get to come meet Baby Gorton too! I am so excited you got what you deserved!
It is about time that they made their decision! Goodness, you think you were working for city government and they were debating on a 6 or 7 digit salary.
