We were so glad to hear the Melissa's power came back on this past Friday. Now she can put food back in the refrigerator and run the AC which I'm sure she's been missing for the past few days.
Electricity is a funny thing it makes this amazing world we live in possible, but as soon as it's gone we have to revert back to 1800's using candles for light and fires for cooking. Progress is wonderful and scary all at the same time. I'm glad that someone in Melissa's neighborhood had a generator that does make it a little easier. And of course even though you can't keep ice frozen we still have our cars and can travel somewhere else that does have power. Heaven help us if the power goes out all over the world at the same time. :)
Sonia and I are glad that all of our family are safe and sound after these terrible storms and I know Sonia looks forward to seeing many of you next week at Karen's retirement party.
We're still both working hard and staying on top of things.
Sonia gave an excellent talk in church, she spoke on Baptismal Covenants and compared our spiritual lives to a GPS system. It was so memorable that I got many compliments from church members throughout the day after she spoke. Sonia will tell you that she didn't do well, but she did awesome and delivered it very well. We both teach the 11-14 year old class and I usually end up giving the lesson, it was nice to sit and listen to Sonia speak and offer her spiritual insights.
Hope your all doing well, we love you!
Tim

Gonna miss seeing you at Karen's house. Don't worry, there will be a billion and one pictures available for you to see. It will be like you were there....really.
