Moving On...

As ready as we are to move. We sure will miss our perfect apartment. It has experienced 4 of our 7+ years of marriage. That means lots of our every day stuff as well as our laughter, tears, fights, passions, dreams, and peace. We have loved our calming views, useful balcony, its inclusive feeling, large laundry room, spacious bathroom, awesome amenities, the security of the second floor, convenience of location to work, school, church, parks, hiking and bike trails.

So as we excited as we are for something new it is still hard to say goodbye to a good home/friend. I know it is silly but these feelings are real. And it proves that we have high expectations of where we live because we both want to continue to increase our standard of living.

In just a matter of a few days we will be "closing" on our first home. We have been very satisfied with how smooth the process is flowing once the 5+ month waiting period was completed. Fortunately we stuck with the idea of "hanging in there" and we know we will be blessed in this house. We have soo much confidence in this home there is very little room for disappointment or buyers remorse.

Some of the things we are looking forward to about this new home is HOME OWNERSHIP, space, having a garage, decorative freedom, and just future growth.

So for the next few weeks we will be in transition mode as we prepare the new home for us, move all of our stuff, and then settling in.

In the mean time Tim's summer has come to an end and he starts back at the teaching and taking of classes tomorrow. He has been such a leader in the house transaction stuff and I am soo glad that I could depend on him to do get the job done and well. Love you honey!
As for myself, I have been a busy bumble bee at work. I have immersed myself in my job lately because there has been such a demand of my time and deadlines to meet. Fortunately, I haven't felt to burdened by the extra energy put into work but I am looking forward to returning to a schedule that gives me more balanced time at home with Tim (which will be tough because I'm expecting him to be out of the house for more then 50 hours a week-- this is actually better then last semester as he was out of the house for more then 55 hr/wk). Until then I am looking on the bright side and am crossing my fingers for a raise next month and hoping to enjoy our new chapters in life.
